Apple Releases iPhone OS 3.1.3 for iPhone, iPod Touch
Apple has released iPhone OS 3.1.3, the latest operating system software for the iPhone and iPod touch. According to release notes from Apple, the update improves accuracy battery level compared to the iPhone 3G, which deals with third-party applications are not started in some cases, and fixes a bug that can cause application crash when using the keyboard Japanese Kana. Furthermore, a number of security changes have been made, as listed in this support document from Apple. iPhone OS 3.1.3 is now available through the Update feature in iTunes for all models of iPhone and iPod Touch running iPhone OS 3.0 or later.
Update: Apple also released an updated iPhone SDK. SDK 3.1.3 is required to work with Xcode 3.1.3 and recognition devices. The updated iPhone SDK is now available to registered iPhone developers from the iPhone Dev Center.
