iPad on Wall-Mart

Wal-Mart will begin offering in-store iPad at the end of the year, according to statements by the director of the company. “We anticipate to have iPad later this year,” said Gary Severson, senior vice president of entertainment for Wal-Mart stores in the U.S., in a telephone interview with Bloomberg. Severson has refused to give any details of time or money. His statement comes as the retailer plans a move to add more consumer electronics offer, including TVs connected to Internet, Blu-ray Disc, mobile phones, routers and stores in an effort to attract more customers with knowledge technology. Apple has not yet announced plans to expand distribution for the iPad passed their own stores, shops like Best Buy, and select Apple Authorized Resellers and the stores on campus.
