Olympus’ EP-1 Micro Four Thirds camera leaked
A day before its scheduled release, the EP-1 Olympus Micro Four Thirds Digital has been leaked. The device is equipped with a 13 megapixel, 3 CCD sensor and can take RAW images. It uses an SD memory card for storage, like Panasonic GH1, and can take seven minutes of video at 720p or 14 minutes of 640×480 resolution video.
There is a live view function that lets users compose images using the LCD screen and digital Shake Reduction. This is a 11-point autofocus sensor, ISO sensitivity ranges from 200 to 6400. The shutter speed can be adjusted from 60 to 1 4000 / second.
The EP-1 will be available in black and white when it is released soon in Japan, where prices are fixed at the equivalent of $ 917 for the body alone or integrated with a lens of $ 1,222 to $ 1,324. Independent Lens is available with a 17mm f2.8 for $ 101 and a 14-42mm f3.6 costs $ 356.
