Sanyo ships hybrid still/video camcorders
Sanyo said on Thursday that it has begun to send its photo and video camera combination of two line Xacti. The series is led by the FH1 and HD2000, which can pull the 1080p H.264 video while capturing images in 8 megapixel, 10X lens, and the video in slow motion and burst modes exploit photo large memory buffers. The CA9 and WH1 photo (), record video in 720p, but are waterproof and snap shots of nine megapixels, while the GC10 and TH1 have the same video resolution, but is 8-megapixel, and either a very small (CG10 ) or horizontal (TH1 form factor).
All devices supported by modern tools such as iMovie video editing and synchronization via USB. Prices start at $ 200 for the CG10 and increase with TH1 ($ 300), CA9 ($ 350), WH1 ($ 400), FH1 ($ 500) and HD2000 ($ 600).
